We just heard that Rod Stewart has now signed on for a new show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. That’s another incredible addition to the mega-star stable of performers being assembled by Caesars Palace. Details and show dates are sketchy at this point, but we should know more in a few days. The Colosseum is pretty well booked with Celine Dion and Elton John, so we don’t know if Rod Stewart will begin his shows in 2011 or 2012. We’re thinking he will take some dates in 2011 and fill in the open nights at Caesars Palace when Celine and Elton are on break. Rod Stewart will pack the house and throw down an outrageously fun show every time he hits the stage. He really brings the energy to his shows, and the voice and showmanship haven’t lost a beat. Not sure if they are really “friends”, but the group of superstars at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas is truly incredible. First Celine Dion, then Elton John and now Rod Stewart. From what we hear, Rod Stewart will be scheduling dates between Celine Dion’s scheduled show and Elton John’s shows. The Colosseum at Casesars Palace is going to be rocking with big name acts EVERY NIGHT.
