Here’s some information about the top Las Vegas travel books. I’ll try to keep new book reviews coming regularly and also keep them updated each year as the new editions come out. If you would like to submit or contribute to a book review for a Las Vegas travel book, please add a comment here or send the info to me via email.

Last year I bought both the Frommer’s and Fodor’s 2008 books and like them. We used Frommer’s more before the trip and Fodor’s more during the trip. They were both good to have.
The City Guide book also looked pretty good but we decided to buy just the two.
linda p, thank you so much for the comment!
I am in the process of reviewing those two books, and they both look pretty good. I think my favorite so far is The Unofficial Guide to Las Vegas 2009. It seems to have the most useful information. I do love the property maps and pull-out map in Fodor’s Las Vegas 2009.
Like you, I haven’t found one book that does it all, so I guess if we want a complete picture of Las Vegas we will need to read several. I will post my reviews soon and hopefully that will help.
Thanks again for your comment, please come back soon.
