can’t go wrong with Michelin Guides. the 2009 Las Vegas guide is all you need.

linda p, thank you so much for the comment! I am in the process of reviewing those two books, and they both look pretty good. I think my favorite so far is The Unofficial Guide to Las Vegas 2009. It seems to have the most useful information. I do love the property maps and pull-out map in Fodor’s Las Vegas 2009. Like you, I haven't found one book that does it all, so I guess if we want a complete picture of Las Vegas we will need to read several. I will post my reviews soon and hopefully that will help. Last year I bought both the Frommer’s and Fodor’s 2008 books and like them. We used Frommer’s more before the trip and Fodor’s more during the trip. They were both good to have.

The City Guide book also looked pretty good but we decided to buy just the two.
